There are multiple important purposes for our organization to hold leadership conferences. It is a chance for student leaders from across the province and their respective teacher advisors to come together to network with each other to share ideas and have discussions related to such things as:

• Qualities of a good leader

• Running successful school events

• Fundraising ideas

• Dealing with challenges and overcoming frustrations

• Where to find resources

• How to organize and run a student council

Organizing and attending workshops and information sessions helps to develop leadership skills and increase knowledge about opportunities that our youth have available to them to benefit others and increase understanding of what it means to be a global citizens.
